Each person should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. ~ 2 Corinthians 9:7 In all of Jesus' recorded conversations, He talked more about money and possessions than any topic other than the kingdom of God itself. When reflecting on His words, all too often we more clearly see where our priorities lie when we examine our spending habits. Important to remember is that money doesn't define a ministry nor does it determine our value as people of God. Our giving is an act of worship. It's simply our response to the love of God and the blessing He has given us in Jesus Christ. May you indeed discover the true joy of giving.
