Week of compassion
Outreach and mission work is a very important part of our ministry here at First Christian. Through "Week of Compassion" (the arm of our denomination that responds to natural disaster and human suffering), our love and concern is shown for humankind all around the world. As part of this effort, each Spring we send an adult mission trip to Central America.
Members of FCC also provide significant financial support plus countless volunteer hours for many local organizations. Among them are: Meals on Wheels, United Way, PATH, and East Texas Hospice.
Our mission is to impact the lives of children at Ramey Elementary School in Tyler, Texas through First Christian Church's resources of people, time, and money.
